When planning an auction school fundraiser, some suggestions for thought:

Build a strong, diverse organizing committee. Include school staff, students and parents as well as interested community members. It can also help to have at least one member with local media contacts in the group.

Plan for plenty of food and non-alcoholic beverage at the fundraiser.
